us:
In September-Contest 1977 the callsign
DL0UL/p was heard for the first time on UKW-Bands. After sporadic activities
the contestgroup Ulm was founded in 1980. Since this time there are 3 members
left including Walter, DL6SAQ.
In the beginning the group intended
to be qrv mostly on all bands. In the last years DL0UL reconcentrats to
less bands. Since 1997 there is also activity on SW in June-Contest (CW
Fieldday). No /p activity any longer.
Location:
The location of DL0UL is JN48UO,
an unspectecular hill on the Schwäbische Alb, 786m high. This place
can be reached by car, which makes the transport easier.
Activity:
The main activity is UKW contesting
on different bands. Cause there is no fixed location only portable operation
is possible. Some years ago EME was successfully tested on 70cm.
After a few days the station had to be reassembled. At the moment there
are no further EME activities.
